Seeking sensational triple threat performers for 2026 summer season show "Dancin' In The Street". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: Dancin’ in the Street is a world-premiere jukebox musical set on a vibrant neighborhood block where interconnected love stories, friendships, and community unfold through the music of Motown, ’70s folk, soul, and disco. This is a story-driven, ensemble-forward production with fully developed characters and a clear narrative arc. Rate: Up to $525/wk. Travel and housing provided. Additional info: Non-union. Must have incredible musical theatre-pop/rock voices, strong dance skills, great comedic instincts, and the ability to interact well with an audience. Digital or virtual auditions will not be accepted at this time. All artists must be available to attend auditions on February 2 and 3, 2026. First Rehearsal: 06/01/26 Opening: 06/24/26 Closing: 07/12/26 When applying, please include headshot, resume, and vocal and dance reel. Once casting team has reviewed the submitted materials, artists may receive a custom access key to book their preferred February 2nd appointment time. Not all submissions will receive an access key.

Tenor. Lead | Singer-Dancer. Vocal Range: Tenor with strong mix/belt. An excellent actor with natural charisma and strong storytelling instincts; serves as narrator and connective tissue for the neighborhood. Requires a strong singing voice with confident belt and rhythmic authority rooted in disco, funk, and Latin-influenced soul. Must be a strong dancer with solid partnering skills and high stamina. Soprano/Mezzo-Soprano. Lead | Singer-Dancer. Vocal Range: Soprano or Mezzo-Soprano with belt. An excellent actor with warmth, vulnerability, and emotional depth; anchors the Act I finale. Requires a powerful pop/disco vocal with emotional release and rhythmic fluency shaped by Latin crossover pop and classic disco divas. Must be a strong dancer with solid partnering proficiency. Musical references: Gloria Estefan/ Linda Ronstadt/ Donna Summer.
Mezzo-Soprano/Alto with belt. Lead | Singer-Dancer. An excellent actor with commanding presence and emotional authority; drives one of the show’s central arcs. Requires a strong soul/R&B voice with belt and dynamic control. Must be a strong dancer with confident physicality and partnering skills. Musical references: Aretha Franklin/ Gladys Knight/ Chaka Khan.
Baritone with upper extension. Lead | Singer-Dancer. An excellent actor with warmth, sincerity, and emotional restraint. Requires a warm, expressive baritone voice with Motown/soul flexibility. Must be a strong dancer with solid partnering ability. Musical references: Marvin Gaye/ Smokey Robinson/ Jackson 5.
Light Tenor/High Baritone. Lead | Singer-Dancer. An excellent actor with natural vulnerability and grounded presence; the emotional slow burn of the show. Requires a clear folk/rock storytelling voice with strong lyric delivery. Must be a strong mover with solid partnering skills. Must play guitar comfortably onstage. Musical references: Simon & Garfunkel/ James Taylor/ Cat Stevens.
Mezzo-Soprano. Lead | Singer-Dancer. An excellent actor with subtlety, intelligence, and emotional restraint. Requires a warm, expressive vocal with nuance and clarity. Must be a strong dancer with solid partnering and adagio skills. Musical references: Joni Mitchell/ Carole King/ Roberta Flack.
