Seeking Cast for "The Last Time I Saw Caileigh" Tour
Actors for spring 2026 touring production of "The Last Time I Saw Caileigh". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: Theatre Company is casting for their upcoming tour of The Last Time I Saw Caileigh, a "...transformative, validating, life-affirming..." new play that explores non-binary erasure through the lens of an unsolved mystery. When Caileigh Richardson goes missing, the three people closest to them point fingers at one another, and at the ever elusive “system”, as they recount their last few days with Caileigh and try to uncover what happened to them. Rate: $500/week + $35/day per diem for any days outside of NYC. Housing and transportation provided while on tour (not while in NYC). Additional info: The production will be touring to Univerisities and LGBTQIA+ community centers across the South, Midwest and East Coast as a way to connect and empower local Queer communities and start conversations about gender fluidity. Alongside performances, Co-founder will be leading devising workshops, which actors cast are welcome, but not obligated to participate in. Experience with devised theatre is a plus, but not a requirement. Callbacks will be held in NYC the week of 1/19. Rehearsals: February 23rd-March 5th 2026 in NYC. Tour: March 6th-April 23rd 2026. Remount in NYC: May 5th-10th 2026. When applying, please include headshot, resume and any devising experience. Selected actors will be invited to self tape using sides.

Not originally from the U.S.* Caileigh's boyfriend of three years. Loyal to a fault, with an idiotic but endearing sense of humor. He loves Caileigh deeply and has imagined a life and a future with them, a dream he is willing to fight for. *Any specific references to Faruk’s background can be adjusted depending on the actor cast.
Caileigh's best friend. Has spent a lot of his life hiding. He's crafted a "gay best friend” persona that he thinks will protect him from the deep hurt and anger he feels surrounding his own queerness. Fiercely blames the other two for Caileigh’s disappearance in an attempt to ignore his own guilt about what happened.
