About the project: Sweet Charity tells the story of Charity Hope Valentine, a hopeful but down-on-her-luck dance hall hostess seeking love while navigating life at the Fandango Ballroom. With music by Cy Coleman, book by Neil Simon, and original choreography by Bob Fosse, this production features iconic songs (Big Spender, Rich Man’s Frug, Rhythm of Life, If My Friends Could See Me Now) and dance numbers. Performers will play a mix of main characters and ensemble roles, contributing to the show’s comedic, energetic, and heartfelt storytelling.
