Seeking an Actor for "The Midweek Monologue"

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors for "The Midweek Monologue" project. Please, see the detais below. About the project: Do you have a monologue you're itching to perform? Directors would love to hear it. In the Midweek Monologue Series, thirteen (lucky) participants will have the chance to work on a monologue of their choice, which will then be featured in a live showcase. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer project. It is a platform for actors to work on a monologue of their choosing and perform it at the end of the series. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) February 25th/26th TBC. Shoot/Performance Location(s) Vancouver (Venue TBC). Submission Deadline December 22, 2025. Just email a recording of you performing your monologue you don't need to have it memorized. Monologues should be no longer than 3 minutes, but any genre is welcome. "The Midweek Monologues" will begin on January 14th, 2026, with the selected participants (the baker's dozen) notified by January 7th! The call for submissions opens on Monday (December 8th), so get cracking! The Series will be online from Jan 14th (Wednesday nights 7-10pm) and will conclude on Feb 18th. The following week will include 1 rehearsal & 1 performance night (these will be in person). If you're interested, please apply.
