This 30-second PSA highlights the strength and courage found within Indigenous communities and the importance of speaking up when something doesn’t feel right. This project addresses trafficking in Indigenous communities and will be handled with trauma-informed and culturally safe practices. Tone: Hopeful, powerful, and community-protective. Indigenous. Grounded, intuitive, courageous. She sees something wrong and — despite hesitation — chooses to act. Almost entirely non-verbal performance, conveyed through subtle emotion, breath, and expression. Driving required.
(Appears younger) Indigenous. Vulnerable but resilient. She survives a dangerous situation and is comforted by the bystander. A quiet, internal performance that communicates through eyes, posture, and emotion.
Indigenous performers are comfortable dancing for the camera (slow-motion capture). Regalia required — honorarium provided if bringing personal regalia.
Indigenous drummers, individual or group (5–6 total). Experienced with traditional drumming; comfortable being filmed in aerial and close-up shots.
Authentic Indigenous (Inuit) throat singers preferred. Perform traditional sounds and rhythms.
