"Entsetzlich" Student Movie Needs Actor

Casting call for student horror short film "Entsetzlich". Looking for an actor. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: Entsetzlich is a dark psychological horror short set inside a funeral parlor. Two men perform an after-hours dissection when the corpse they were working on mysteriously vanishes — and reappears somewhere it should never be. Rate: Unpaid. Snacks, drinks, and basic craft services will be provided throughout the night. Transportation is not provided; please only apply if you can get to/from set safely. Everyone cast will receive: - A Google Drive link to the final film for demo reel use - IMDb credit - Access to selected BTS stills for portfolio use Additional info: Non-union. Requirements: - Comfortable with heavy SFX makeup (pale skin, fake blood, etc.) - Comfortable lying still for extended periods - Comfortable with horror imagery and low-light shooting - Okay with implied gore (all fake — makeup & prosthetics only) Safety & Comfort: - No real scalpels or medical tools will touch your body - No nudity — modesty garments and/or underlayers will be used - Breaks will be given regularly, especially for long “still” holds Shoot dates & times: Saturday, December 13th, 2025 — 7:00 PM to ~7:00 AM. THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT SHOOT DAYS. Please only apply if you are fully comfortable filming overnight. ADDITIONAL NOTES/WARNINGS: This is a student film: the environment will be learning-focused, respectful, and collaborative. Contains horror themes, fake blood, disturbing imagery, and dark locations. Overnight hours can be physically tiring — please be realistic about your energy and health. Closed set: only essential cast allowed during filming.
