Casting call for short film "The Beast We Hunt"
Synopsis_ Sfyrí, an outcast rejected by everyone including her own father, is forced to participate in a hunt to kill a beast roaming around the forest. Except there is no beast. The beast they hunt… is Sfyrí herself. Genre_ Dark Fantasy. Inspired by Dark Souls and Berserk. Shooting Dates_ 5 days between April 4th & April 15th 2026 (to be defined) Shooting Location_ Espace Go, Montreal Other information_ Non-union, not paid (except if the project get subventions) When applying, please submit head shot & your reel (or past project). Both her parents are dead: their house burned down when they were inside. Everyone knows Cepheus has something to do with it. She’s a jokester, the kind that makes your blood turn to ice. She wears a big smile on her face and people quietly hates her, but she thrives on it… It’s best for them to be on her good side.
