Seeking Content Creator for Upcoming Project
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. The company is looking for a content creator. Please, see the details below. Rate: $30–$35/hr. Additional information: You’ll turn everyday trade work into content people actually want to watch and can see themselves in. Most days you’ll be working with whatever footage you’re given (iPhone clips from a plumber on-site, messy drain jobs, quick before/afters) and shaping it into something that actually stops a scroll. You know how to dig out the hook, find the moment, and turn something ordinary into something worth watching. You'll edit fast, film when needed, and help build a social presence that feels native to TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and Meta. You'll work closely with the Art Director for visual direction, and with the design/motion partners when something needs extra polish. If you've been wanting a place to try new formats, test ideas, and build series, this is the role. You'll have the space and the autonomy to push things forward, and not just 'post what you're given. You like working quick and clever, creating strong content with a simple setup and a team that moves just as fast as you do. This is a part-time role with consistent/flexible weekly hours that will grow when the company grows. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Edit videos into short-form, scroll-stopping content; Capture simple on-site content when needed; Find the hook in everyday trade moments; Turn routine jobs into tight, watchable stories; Write captions + on-screen text that feel native to the platform; Build repeatable series and content formats; Keep content fast, human, and scrappy; Track performance and adjust based on what works; Collaborate with the Art Director for visual consistency; Partner with design/motion for polished assets; Keep footage and edits clean + organized. WHAT YOU BRING: Chronically online (you understand TikTok, Reels, Shorts, meme culture); Strong sense of what makes something entertaining + funny; Comfortable with simple filming setups; Solid editing skills in CapCut, Descript, Premiere, or whatever tool is fastest; Fast at finding the hook; Proactively brings new content ideas and tests; Responsive to feedback and fast to improve; Organized with footage, files and exports; Collaborative, comfortable working with a small team. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (90 DAYS): 4–8 pieces of content per week. Better retention, saves, re-watches. A few series or formats that feel unique to the brand. Clean, organized footage + content library. Smooth collaboration with the Art Director + design partners. Content that feels distinct and human. Clear creative momentum, always trying new things, testing and learning. Type: Part-Time, contract/freelance. Start: December/January. Location: Remote (Canada)/GTA preferred. If you're interested, please apply.
