About the project: BLOOM is an atmospheric, character-driven micro-budget eco horror film set in the Arizona desert - a story about isolation, transformation, and the price of creation. It follows Grace, a young woman who inherits a struggling desert nursery and becomes consumed by her need to bring it back to life. As the world around her begins to change, so does she. Visually and tonally, BLOOM draws inspiration from A24-style psychological horror like Saint Maud, Resurrection, and The Witch, a slow-burn descent into obsession with striking desert imagery, intimate performances, and artful, cinematic storytelling. When she inherits the nursery, she makes a bold decision to change, to take control, and that transformation becomes the heart of the film. This role requires physical performance and light stunt work (running, digging, crawling, physical struggle, etc.) and a willingness to get dirty — literally — working with soil, plants, and the natural desert environment.
