It follows the story of two lab partners, Raven and Aurora, as they inspect a creature of unnatural characteristics, meanwhile the unnerving truth behind this creation begins scratching the surface. Raven suspects she may be all alone in the lab with a deadly predator. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer production; crafty and lunch will be provided on days of shooting. Raven is an ambitious scientist on the verge to create something extraordinary, but behind her boldness hides deep sorrow. Her drive is motivated by her past and a secret she has forced herself to bury deep within her subconsciousness regarding her best friend, Aurora. She is emotionally troubled but pushes past the pain by overworking herself till her very last ounce of sanity, which costs her everything.
Aurora is Raven's anchor. She is the only person who can ground Raven's uncontrollable sadness with her enthusiasm and playful energy. She can be the most composed out of the two when things get serious but does not hold back from pulling a joke to alleviate the atmosphere. However, her playful demeanour comes from a place of deep frustration and resentment towards her best friend, Raven.
