About the project: When a high school student can no longer beg for money from their mother, they are forced to get a job babysitting, unaware of the danger and destruction that someone with a sleeping condition can cause… Rate: NON-PAID + NON-UNION ACTORS. Additional information: Genre: Action/Thriller. Format: Short Film. Audition Dates: July 27th - August 3rd. Shooting Dates: September 3rd and 4th. Shooting Location: The Beaches, Downtown Toronto, ON. Method: Self Recording Auditions. Male or female identifying. Introverted, shy and socially awkward. Normally, they would choose to stay at home and play video games. However, forever trying to please their mother, they try to seek a path of independence and step outside their comfort zone.
Female identifying. Extroverted, straightforward and wastes no time. As a real estate agent, she knows her way with people. Blinded by her love for her son, CASEY, she will do whatever it takes to keep him happy. Beneath her calm exterior, is anger and fear, awaiting to boil over.
Male identifying, above 6 feet tall. Quiet. Just quiet. He's spent his whole life sheltered away from the real world. Extremely introverted and does not know how to interact with others. Fighting with his inner demons, he can't help but be vicious and aggressive when things don't go his way.
