Charlie is a tall, lanky unhoused person, who is very unhappy with her situation and is always looking for ways out... but some days are harder than others.
Adam is a shorter (5’4”- 5’8”), young adult who feels he’s reached a dead end before his life had the chance to start. He coasts by, seemingly uncaring, at his gas station job, but holds a subtle passion for watching the lives of others and cares deeply for the unhoused person, Charlie, who lives behind the store.
Alex is an average-height, skinny young adult whose drug-ridden teenage years have left him alienated from his family. He lives in a halfway house with his beloved dog, but often shirks the responsibilities assigned to him there.
Cliff is a tall, burly man of manual labor with sun-damaged skin and a humble, respectful air about him. His heavily calloused hands reflect the decades of experience he has working with every kind of person and defending their needs as a stubborn union leader.
70+. Marty/Meredith is an aging, handicapped individual who is stern, and stubborn. But still enjoys makes people laugh with her antics and genuinely appreciates help from others.
Tracy is mother. She’s dismissive and somewhat rude to those around her, but cares deeply for her child, whom she is always watching.
