About the project: Story: It’s the 1940’s and Kay Mostyn is cruising down the river Nile on a paddle steamer, the Lotus. Kay has led a charmed life, blessed with beauty and wealth. She embarks with her new husband, Simon, on a honeymoon voyage, down the Nile. These idyllic surroundings are shattered by a murder. There are a multitude of memorable passengers, all with a reason to kill. All characters have a reason to be a murder victim as well as a motive to be a murderer. Additional info: Auditions will be readings from the script. Rehearsals begin on July 31st and run until September. The rehearsal schedule will be finalized after casting. Please bring any conflicts to auditions. Actors should be available for all of tech week and performance dates.
