Singer Needed for Gig "Little Women"
Singers and performers are needed for the "Little Women" show. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. Additional info: Audition Preparation Singing: Please prepare a one minute excerpt of your choice. Please do not choose music from the show Little Women. Song Choice Tips: 1. Prepare a song that showcases your range and abilities. 2. This is a great opportunity to show your musical theatre skills by choosing a song that requires you to be in character. 3. Choose a song that the character you’re auditioning for might sing, or is tonally similar to the show Little Women. Acting: Short excerpts for each character are attached. As you prepare, don’t worry so much about memorizing, but more with being familiar with the material! Focus on showcasing your emotional range and your understanding of the text. We will have printed copies at the audition. Rehearsal Schedule Rehearsals begin January 11 and run until March 8. All rehearsals will be held at Living Waters Methodist Church at 424 N Main in Centerton. Rehearsal times below are estimates. Final rehearsal schedules will be provided at casting.
