At a pivotal moment, Adam meets a mysterious woman who gives him an opportunity to change his fate. Rate: Non-Union. Paid. Additional info: NOTE- looking for a diverse and inclusive cast for Wrath Mercy. Directors are specifically casting LGBTQ actors and allies to play the roles below. Gay male (lead) 3-4 days (casting nationally) Adam grew up in a small town in the South, always dreaming he could get out and move to the big city because he never felt like he fit in. Somewhere along the way he started using meth, which gave him confidence and sexuality, all the things he had been missing, finally feeling as if he belonged. That is until the drugs very quickly became the problem. (must be comfortable with sexual situations, no nudity and simulated drug use)
Woman 1-2 days (local to Mississippi). The Drug Dealer is a motherly figure on the surface. In a way she is a mother to these young drug addicts, giving them a new life. But all is not as it seems with her. Even if a part of her cares and feels, she is there to take from everyone who comes to her and in turn give them the drugs they think they need to survive until there is almost no life left.
LGBTQ. 1-2 days (local to Mississippi) The Drug Dealer's right hand. They are addicted, just like Adam, but their purpose as the Drug Dealer's henchman keeps them going as much as the drugs. They are likely emaciated and pale from prolonged drug use. They are conniving, menacing and very dangerous, yet with a wicked sense of humor.
Gay male, 1-2 days (local to Mississippi). Is a housefly. He is always around, using drugs, wherever he needs to go to get one more. He has a dimness to him, so high and in psychosis that he doesn't really know what's going on around him, which is even a little funny, despite how tragic it is. (must be comfortable with sexual situations, no nudity, and simulated drug use)
