Actors Wanted for "One Last Job" Film

About the project: PROJECT SYNOPSIS: Frank, a man in his early twenties, struggles to support his younger brother, Jacob’s dream of going to med school after the loss of their parents. To do this Frank has been forced into a life of petty crimes and rigged fights, for a gangster named James. James took Frank under his wing solely to use Frank for profit. Frank now owing a debt to James, is pushed to do an even more dangerous job with the promise of paying off more of his debt. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer project. Additional information: AUDITION LOCATION: Online. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S): March 17th - 19th 2023. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S): Vancouver and Burnaby. Lead. Frank is a young man who wants nothing more than to support his younger brother. An incredibly loyal brother, Frank cares only for his brother, and how his brother views him. Despite the lengths he is willing to go to support Jacob, he still wants to be seen as a good role model.
Supporting. Jacob, a young man who has aspirations of being a doctor. After he and Frank’s parents died Jacob wanted to help others not have to feel that same grief for as long as possible. He wants to help his brother whenever possible as they are the last family they have.
Supporting. James is a gangster who has grown up through a tough childhood. A man who is happy to use others for his own gain, his only priority is to gain money and power over others. James is wanting to keep Frank underfoot for as long as possible while pretending to be friendly.
