Casting Call for "Lost Dreams" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Directors are currently in need of actors to play roles in "Lost Dreams" film. Please, see the details below. About the project: PROJECT SYNOPSIS: “Lost Dreams” is a dramatic 4-minute short about Lenna, an empty nester who always puts her children’s dreams and happiness first. She is given a chance to chase her childhood dreams. However, right when she accepts the offer, her youngest, Aiden, gets involved in a car accident and has to say goodbye to his athletic goals and career. Even though Lenna is just as crushed by the accident as Aiden is, once again, she has to gather all that it is to her and be the one who gets them out of this nightmare in one piece. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer project. Additional information: AUDITION LOCATION Online. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S) March 6-8th, 2023. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S) Vancouver, BC. SUBMISSION DEADLINE February 5, 2023. - All cast members will receive screen credit for their involvement. - Final rehearsals will commence one week before the first day of shooting. - Location production will run for duration of 3 days. (Possibly less) - No set meals. However, daily crafty will be provided. - There will be a dog on set. When applying, please submit your video audition. Lead. Lenna is a loving single mother of three who is the pillar of her family. The one strong person everyone confides in and relies on to make their lives run like a clock. She is selfless to the point where she gives up all she has for her children's sake and ensures that they know that no matter what, they will always have her by their side.
Supporting. Aiden is Lenna’s youngest son. He is a professional sprinter who has trained his whole life to join the national team. Unfortunately, he breaks his left leg in an accident and has to say goodbye to his athletic career and face his biggest fear.
