Performers Required for "Stop Kiss" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Actors needed for the production of "Stop Kiss" play. Please see the details below. About the project: This drama depicts the budding relationship between two young women in 1990's New York City. What starts as a friendship begins to blossom into something more, but immediately following their first kiss, they are attacked and nearly killed by a drunken passerby. Rate: Stipend of $100 available for performers. Additional info: Auditions will consist of presenting a memorized monologue, as well as some cold readings from the script. The monologue should be around one minute to 90 seconds in length, and from a modern or contemporary play (20th and 21st century). Auditionees may present two memorized monologues if desired (no more than one minute each), but this is optional. REHEARSAL DETAILS First read-thru is to be held Monday February 27th Rehearsals will be held at Inspiration Studios in West Allis. Rehearsals will be held Mondays thru Thursdays from 6:30 - 9:30 pm (possibly 6:00 - 9:30 pm beginning in April) beginning February 27th. Tech will be held on Thursday April 6th due to Easter Weekend.
