Additional information: The ideal candidate demonstrate creativity in their design and storytelling, passionate about science and yet perfectionist, able to deliver content and material while needing little supervision. The science content creator will be involved in planning and executing compelling visual & written content alongside media strategies for the marketing team. Your role will involve: - Dream and conceptualize scientific content for digital & printed marketing materials and sales tools; - Interpreting & summarizing current scientific research and assist in the creation of digital content; - Create and execute marketing campaigns and communications, including email, fax, social media, and digital & print advertising; - Assist in coordinating in-house & outsourced design; - Establish and maintain relationships with clients; - Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed; - Contribute to collaborative efforts – a real “go-getter”! Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science, communications, marketing, or a relevant field preferred; 1-2 years of relevant working experience is an asset; Strong background in writing/storytelling; A passion for transferring scientific; knowledge to various audiences; Strong creative drive and ability to think outside of the box; Knowledge and experience using graphic design software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop is an asset; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with French being an asset; Proactive, organized, and autonomous; A keen eye to detail and project ownership Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, ocular health or beauty/cosmetic industry is a definite plus; Experience working with a tight-knit and growing team is a plus.
