About the project: "Welcome to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. Watch the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!" Additional info: You will be asked to read from the script; Please be prepared to have fun and play; and bring your creative ideas and open, collaborative spirit! Performance Dates: Friday, May 5, 7:30 pm Saturday, May 6, 7:30 pm Sunday, May 7, 2:00 pm Expected Rehearsal Schedule: starting the week of March 5, three (3) rehearsals per week* until Tech Week, during which we will rehearse every night. Specific days of the week will be determined based on cast and crew availability. *There will be no formal rehearsals scheduled the week of March 24-April 2, as the director will be out of town. Below is a list of the characters and some very bare-bones descriptions. It is strongly recommend that auditioners read the entire play ahead of time. There is room for flexibility in age for most characters, and all races will be considered for all parts. There are currently no plans for any gender-bending. Characters: As with any play-within-a-play, you have the complication of the characters of the actors doing the play-within-the-play and the characters within the play-within-the-play. NOTE: The text always uses the actors' names rather than the characters' names. NOTE: STAGE CREW will appear and may have some lines in the play.
