Actors & extras needed for roles in student short film "New Dawn Fades". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Synopsis: Psychological Thriller/Horror. In a post-apocalyptic world, a mysterious drifter happens upon a secluded home in the woods - its sole occupant an unassuming young woman. A mental game of cat and mouse ensues. But who is the cat, and who is the mouse? Rate: Leads – $100/day (up to 6 days total), credit, copy, meals. Extras - credit, copy, meals (2 days total: March 10th & 11th, 2023). Rugged anti-hero. No-nonsense "cowboy" with a guile and a cunning about him. Rationalist intellectual with little patience for magical thinking. Ex-military (Army medic).
Femme fatale masquerading as an unassuming, peace-loving bohemian "hippy". Warm and inviting on the outside, to better hide her sinister intentions. Skeptical of science, and dismissive of intellectual types.
Extras. Will be cloaked and masked the entire shoot.
