Theatre company will hold auditions for "Crazy Little Thing Called Love 5", which is made up of 9 short plays, written by local playwrights, about the craziness of love. Seeking cast. About the project: “Dead-Dead-Dead-Crazy” synopsis: Alex is dating a new girl named Faith, or is he just imagining her? “I Love New York” synopsis: A husband and wife vacation in NYC. While there, the wife begins to question her life choices. “Suicide is Painful” synopsis: Two troubled neighbors lean on each other for support when both consider if life is worth living. “The Thrill Experts” synopsis: A wife wants more thrills and adventures, but is married to a man afraid of everything. “Who’s Grace Kelly?” synopsis: A couple’s divide over pop culture develops into a deeper look at their age-gap relationship. “Without A Doubt" synopsis: College student, Taylor, is accidentally placed in a men’s dorm room, where she meets her “roommate”, Andrew. Rate: All roles are unpaid, but directors collect cash and Venmo tips after each performance, which they split amongst the actors at the end of the run. Additional info: There are no appointments, just show up between the hours listed. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please bring a headshot, or current face picture. This really helps when casting. Resumes are appreciated, but optional. Show Dates and Times: *you must be available for all performances March 17-19 March 24-27 March 31-April 3 Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. Rehearsal Times: Each director will work with their casts to create a rehearsal schedule, so make sure you bring your conflicts. Characters: ages and genders are only recommended, but directors are open to ALL ages and genders.
