MILTONMale30-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Must be able to play guitar and sing, will be playing one song live. Incredibly charismatic, draws everyone to him, feels invincible. His superpower is: while he is truly mediocre, he believes himself to be an unparalleled, once-in-a-lifetime talent...but must manipulate those around him to achieve that status.

LOUISMale20-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Must be able to play guitar and bass comfortably. Milton’s lackey, always looking for the One Right Answer, which impinges his artistry…. and makes him vulnerable to following Milton’s command. Believes deeply in hierarchy in a patriarchal military/sports tradition.

TOBYMale20-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Must be able to play drums. Physical creature. Confident in his Second-In-Command status to Milton. Completely bought into an abstract promised-land bribe of fame, fortune, relative power.

KEYBoth genders20-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Must be able to play keys well. All heart. Serious substance abuse. Hides out from real-world trauma and inability to kick their drug habits, by staying in the fantasy of this band. Thinks Milton and Becks are looking out for Key, not realizing that the Band benefits from Key’s sublimation into substance abuse.

BERNARDMale30-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Must be able to play bass or guitar passably. Can train the right person in this task, but musical aptitude required. Pillar of the community, emotionally stable, imminently practical. Should be able to portray being electrocuted in multiple takes.
