"Murder on the Orient Express" Play Needs Cast
Auditions for Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express". Seeking cast. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: The story: While traveling in 1934 from Istanbul on the most famous train of its time, nine passengers begin their voyage. The train is forced to stop due to a snowbank in Yugoslavia, and one of the passengers is killed. Fortunately, Hercule Poirot, Agatha Christie’s most famous detective, is on board and solves the crime. Additional info: Call-backs (if necessary) will be held on December 15. All roles are available and are for adults (18 and over). Auditions will be open and will include an interview and a variety of cold readings from the script. Auditioners may be asked to read certain lines with different accents in order to evaluate the auditioner’s flexibility and comfort levels. All auditions will need to be in person; directors apologize for not being able to accommodate video auditions. A draft rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions in order to identify any schedule conflicts. Most likely, directors will be doubling two of the male roles. Play opens March 10, 2023. If you are interested, please apply.
