About the project: Synopsis: Eliza is deeply in denial about accepting her estranged mother's recent passing, despite the inheritance of her family's cabin. When faced with the difficult task of deciding the cabin's fate, compounded with the inability to healthily grieve, Eliza engages with various behaviors to cope. Eliza quickly realizes that the path to healing is tedious and unsettled, as she gets caught between becoming who she yearns to be and being who she already is. Rate: Non-union. $200 honorarium, demo reel footage, lodging, food, and transportation provided. Additional information: Selftapes by October 23rd. Callbacks start October 24th. Shooting Dates: November 25th-28th, 2022. Note: This is an on-location production (Lake Errock, BC). The selected actor is asked to be available and present for the entirety of all set days. A valid driver’s license is required and access to a car is preferable. Theatre experience is a plus, but not required.
