"Spider-Man" Musical Origins Needs Paid Voice Talent
NATIONWIDE CASTING. The project "Spider-Man: Musical Origins" is currently in need of voice actors. Please, see the details below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: In this stop-motion musical take on the classic fable, teenager Peter Parker goes through a dramatic journey of self-discovery in becoming the amazing Spider-Man. Rate: Non-Union. Principal roles: $100/hour. Secondary roles: Volunteer. Additional information: NOTE: All auditions will be done via mp3 submission. Callbacks will be scheduled for zoom sessions with the creative team. RECORDING DATES: October 24th-November 25th, 2022 (Pickups to be scheduled in January 2023). RECORDING LOCATION: All talent MUST have & be able to record from high quality home studios (No USB Mics). Director will be directing via zoom/google meet/skype for all recording sessions. Male Presenting. VOCAL RANGE: Baritone. NOTES: Singing experience required. LINE COUNT: 22 + 2 Songs. Aggressive and greedy old reporter and publisher of the Daily Bugle newspaper, who despises Spider-Man due to seeing him as a freak and a dangerous influence, (like comic book hater, Fredric Wertham) and uses his newspaper as propaganda to get everyone to hate Spider-Man like he does. PAY RATE: $100 per hour.
Male Presenting. VOCAL RANGE: Baritone. NOTES: Singing experience required. LINE COUNT: 21 + 1 Song. Revenge-driven bitter old man who was the head of the science company, General Techtronics, along with his showman-like partner Gregory Bestman, until the latter framed him for embezzlement and sued him, taking away his company and fortune. PAY RATE: $100 per hour.
Female Presenting. VOCAL RANGE: Soprano. NOTES: Singing experience required. LINE COUNT: 29 + 1 Song. Elderly doting woman and Peter’s aunt, tending to be overly motherly and worrisome toward him. Following his husband Ben’s death, she is forced to go through the stress of finding some way to help with the overflow of bills, while trying to still constantly support Peter and keep him on the right path. PAY RATE: $100 per hour.
