About the project: In an attempt to save the family business, The Phoenix Lottery offers its winner instant fame and fortune: the chance to publicly torch a prized van Gogh. It is an exploration of art, commerce, organized religion, and untidy family relationships. In this grand comedy, there’s a keen eye for the masks with which society maintains the commodification of art and celebrity and the value placed on them. Rate: This is a paid performance. Additional information: Location: London, Ontario, TBD (it will be accessible by bus), information will be given out shortly. Performances: End of April into May, 2023. Please prepare a monologue.
