Casting call for horror short film “Buddy”. Seeking senior male actor. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: Logline: A young couple finds themselves stranded on the side of a quiet highway with a flat tire when a kind stranger offers to help. Rate: All roles will receive IMDb credit, footage copy for reels, and meals. Please provide your rate if applicable. Additional info: Location: Central Florida (TBD) New talent is welcome to apply. Non-Union. Auditions with self tapes. Callbacks will be done by October 10. Filming will take place late October or early November. Will be needed for 1 night of filming. Late 70s - 80s (ability to perform a charming southern accent a plus). Ritch is an older gentleman that stops when he sees a car stranded on the side of the road. He looks kind, genuine, and trustworthy. His smile is warm and engaging. He is non-threatening, so much so that a young woman feels comfortable enough to exit her own car to speak with him. Ability to sing a plus.
