"A Christmas Carol" Show Seeks Performers
Looking to cast male and female talent for "A Christmas Carol" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: This is an ensemble show with an extensive doubling of characters. The cast brings to life upward of 60 characters and utilizes elements of singing and dance to tell Charles Dickens’ story. Part of the long English tradition associating ghost stories with Christmas Eve, Dickens utilizes those eerie, fun, and frightening aspects to tell an always timely story of loss, hope, redemption, and active love for one’s fellow creatures. The story is told theatrically with an onstage chorus providing narration and commentary, as well as stepping in and out of characters in the drama. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. If you are a singer, be prepared to sing a classic Christmas carol with a group. Show Dates/Times: Thu-Sat, Dec 8-10 & 15-17 at 7:30pm, Sun, Dec 11 & 18 at 2:00 pm Rehearsals begin Thursday, October 6. If interested, please apply.
