"Death of a Salesman" Play Needs Equity Actors
Auditions for "Death of a Salesman" play. Seeking Equity actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. Rate: SPT $465 weekly minimum (Tier 5) Additional info: First rehearsal: December 19, 2022 Previews: January 11-12, 2023 Open: January 13, 2023 Close: January 29, 2023 Rehearsals & performances will be indoors. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Willy’s grown son who has struggled to find himself ever since high school where he was a football star. Biff is also his teenage self in Willy’s flashbacks.
Willy’s youngest son who is a woman chaser and unhappy with his work life. Happy is also his younger self in Willy’s flashbacks.
Willy’s friend and neighbor who is concerned about Willy’s fading condition and though he has to endure occasional abuse from Willy he often lends him money.
Charley’s son who was looked down upon as a kid by Willy and his sons, but has grown up to be a successful lawyer.
Willy’s patient wife who loves her husband deeply despite his shortcomings.
The son of Willy’s boss. He fires Willy.
Willy’s older brother who has become rich. He only shows up in Willy’s memories.
Willy’s mistress while he went on business trips.
