Casting call for "The Blame Game", a student short film. Looking for actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: The film is about a family game night ruined by cheating. Synopsis: Lily and her family play Candy Land for their family game night–until it goes awry. Lily learns a valuable lesson when she is condemned to death for cheating, in a court trial, by her family who are dressed as their favorite board game characters. Rate: Lead roles pay $40/day. Supporting role (spot) pays $60 flat rate. Meals and snacks provided. Will be given a copy of the final film and an invitation to the premiere. Additional info: Directors are filming this comedy on Saturday, October 29 & Sunday, October 30. As a small crew of passionate filmmakers, they aim for their film to highlight the importance of family and hope for it to be shown in festivals. This is a non-union shoot and requires a commitment of two 10-hour days on October 29-30 (Spot is needed for ~1.5 days). When applying, please include a headshot and/or demo reel to receive audition materials.

(Lead) is the only character not driven by competition or rules. She enjoys spending time with her family, and prioritizes having a good time with them. She is sweet and soft-spoken. She transforms into Princess Frostine from Candy Land for the majority of the film.

DADMale35-59 y.o.All ethnicities

(Lead) is a stickler for the rules above anything else. Rules must be followed, or there are consequences. He also thinks he has a sense of humor, but he is not funny. He transforms into a Battleship Admiral for the majority of the film.

SPOTMale40-59 y.o.All ethnicities

(Supporting), initially a dog, is a middle-aged man/dog lawyer. He wears disheveled work attire, as well as a pair of dog ears. He is goofy and confused, and a terrible lawyer. He understands confusion, as that is a state he constantly lives in. (*Needed for one full day and only one scene on the other day*)
