ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. The company is searching for performers for 2023 Season. Please, see the details below. Additional information: The season consists of the next plays: 9 to 5 - The Musical; Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard; Grease; The Wizard of Oz. Call Back Dates: Monday, October 24, 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Tuesday, October 25. 6:30pm to 10:30pm. (Full call back schedule to be released closer to call back dates). Please include all pertinent information to assist our panel to understand your experience and areas of interest. You are required to present one monologue (1-minute maximum) & to sing one song of your choice from the musical theatre canon. Please no songs from any of the musicals being presented as part of our 2022 Season. Please pick 16 bars that best show off your range and voice. A pianist will be provided If successful you will be contacted by e-mail or phone with further requirements including downloadable sheet music selections and reading sides if required. A movement/dance call will take place on the call back date as well. Please familiarize yourself with the shows and characters. "The Wizard of Oz". Emily Gale is the Aunt of Dorothy who leads a busy and tiring life on her Kansas farm. Glinda the Good Witch of the North watches over Dorothy and her friends. She is caring and nurturing and is a great aid to anyone in need. She must portray dignity and grace. Experienced Mezzo/Soprano (G to Middle C). Strong singer.

Miss Gulch/The Wicked Witch of the WestFemale18-30 y.o.All ethnicities

"The Wizard of Oz". Miss Gulch is uptight neighbor who attempts to take Dorothy’s beloved dog Toto away from her. She is harsh, mean and strict spirit but also has a good delivery of sarcastic banter. The Wicked Witch of the West is the villain of our story. She follows our four friends throughout the land of OZ striking fear into them any way she can.
