Actors whether union or non-union will be fed, given IMDB credit and material for their demo reel. About the project: PROJECT SYNOPSIS: Danny and John are a couple expecting their first child. Everything is ideal, until, one day, Danny feels that there is something wrong with the baby. When they go to their next check-up, their worst nightmares are confirmed, and they are informed that their child has be diagnosed with a fetal malformation and that death of the fetus is imminent. Danny wants to terminate the pregnancy but is forced to carry the doomed child after legal action stops a therapeutic abortion form being an option. Danny is main protagonist. She’s a young decisive woman, expecting her baby, receives the tragic news of the imminent death of her unborn child. Her life becomes a nightmare once she is thrown into situations and realities where she doesn’t have any power, leading to her emotional breakdown. On top of that she must deal with a horrifying cult that is taking over her husband.
John is the main supporting character. He’s a father to be, gets shocked once he’s notified about the eventual death of his unborn baby. Trying to deal with his grief, he finds console in a religious group and gets blinded by their beliefs, never realizing how unsettling they are. He now must realize the cult his in or settle down with them.
Orla is the main antagonist. She lost her son when she was younger, leading her to her faith and, eventually, religious cult. She descends from Nordic Regions and her beliefs and way of speaking, show that. She’s inspired by any religious leader, that shows love and embrace, before she cruelly drags hurting people to her cult.
Toni is a side character that first introduces Danny the cult. She becomes a bridge between both worlds, so that the cult can creep into Danny’s life.
Chris lost his brother and found comfort in Orla’s group. His character is the first to show how people can get blinded by grief and beliefs.
