Seeking Actors for 2022-2023 Season Shows

Femme presenting. Alto to Mezzo range. Advanced at playing electric bass. Other instruments would be a plus as well. Strong singer and collaborator. This production is about groundbreaking women in the music industry from the 1960’s to today and will feature music with strong stories behind the music.

Masculine presenting. British Accent. Rock Belter. Tenor - C3 to B4 Charlie is a driven but lost young person who upon losing his father doesn’t quite know which way to turn. He is proud of the shoe factory but needs to find a new way for it to survive. His commitment, open heart, and supportive friends help him in finding his way.

Masculine presenting. Strong mover/dancer. Tenor C3 to B4. British accent. Lola is a successful drag queen who performs with her team of angels. Confident, proud, loyal, creative, lights up every room. Lola/Simon is glamorous, extravagant, and cares deeply about their friends.

Masculine presenting. The twenty-five-year-old adopted son of Roger Ackroyd and murder suspect. Ralph is extraordinarily charming, but he is also weak, self-indulgent, and extravagant. Though his relationship with his adopted father is strained, he is well-loved by the citizens of King’s Abbot.

Femme presenting. The niece of Roger Ackroyd and murder suspect. Flora is Ralph’s fiancée and is said to be exceptionally beautiful. Some villagers dislike Flora, but all admire her. Though her disposition is mostly sunny, she is sometimes mean-spirited and resentful.

Masculine presenting. Bari/Tenor. Some dancing. Has worked at the Playhouse for many years. He loves who he is and isn’t afraid to show it.

Femme presenting. Mezzo. Some dancing/movement. The leading lady at the Playhouse. Confident, no nonsense, talented, and very pregnant.

Femme presenting. Sop/Mezzo Very excited as this is her first time working on the Main Stage. She has been a waitress at the Playhouse before but finally gets a shot at performing
