Seeking performers/singers for "A Christmas Carol" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: A Christmas Carol is the classic Charles Dickens Christmas ghost story of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future leading to his subsequent redemption. This unique adaptation is true to the Dickens story in content and language. This heart-warming story will have the theatergoers leaving the theatre full of the Christmas Spirit and ready for their own Christmas celebrations. Additional info: -Rehearsals will be scheduled during the fall, based on the availability of the players, generally at an off-site location, 3 days per week, until November 8th when the rehearsals will be on the main stage until opening. -Players must be available for all performances. Performances are December 8-11 and 15-18. Rehearsals will begin on October 17th. Performances: WEEK ONE: Fri. Dec. 9, 2022 - 8 PM Sat. Dec 10, 2022- 2 PM Sat. Dec 10, 2022- 8 PM Sun. Dec. 11, 2022 - 2 PM WEEK TWO: Thur. Dec. 15, 2022 - 8 PM Fri. Dec. 16, 2022 - 8 PM Sat. Dec. 17, 2022 - 2 PM Sat. Dec. 17, 2022 - 8 PM Sun. Dec. 18, 2022 - 2 PM Will audition using cold readings from the script. Auditioners should come prepared to sing one verse of a traditional Christmas Carol. Bring sheet music or provide other accompaniment. Pianist will be provided. Examples of traditional Christmas Carols: Hark The Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful, We Three Kings Of Orient Are, Silent Night, Joy to the World, God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen, Here We Come A-wassailing, and O Holy Night.
