The company is holding auditions for 2023 Season Shows and looking for singers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: "Avenue Q" "Pippin" "The Producers" Additional info: What to Prepare: Head-shots and resumes will be submitted through an online form. General Auditions require two contrasting 32-bar cuts from musical theater pieces of your choosing. Bring sheet music in your key with 32-bar cuts clearly marked. An accompanist is provided. Please bring your rep book for additional selections. Actors may be asked to do a cold reading. Audition sides will be provided at the audition. Please see the attachment for more information. A fresh-faced kid just out of college. He is looking for his “purpose” in life and is pursuing a career, love and life satisfaction. He is a little naïve to the realities of life, as most people are at that age. Tenor Bb2 – G4 "Avenue Q"
A kindergarten teaching assistant, a bit older than Princeton. She is kind, considerate but can have a feisty side. “She’s not weak and she’s definitely not a generic ingénue who gets all swoony and dizzy when it comes to matters of the heart.” Soprano (Mezzo) F#3 – F5 "Avenue Q"
A bit of a slacker, who lives with Rod. They are best friends but have a fiery relationship and can often be found arguing. Tenor-B2 – B4 "Avenue Q"
A Republican investment banker with a secret…he is struggling with coming to terms with his homosexuality. He comes out over the course of the show. “Rod carries a huge amount of the heart of the show. The actor playing him can have a ball even with the responsibility with keeping him true.” Tenor A2 – G4 "Avenue Q"
A reclusive creature obsessed by the Internet. Although he appears abrupt and rude, a sensitive side is revealed during the show. He has a “Cookie Monster” growl to his voice which would need to be maintained.Baritone Bb2 – F#4 "Avenue Q"
A vixenish vamp with a dangerous edge. Has starred in “Girls Gone Wild: Parts 2, 5 and 7”. During the show seduces Princeton which causes a showdown with Kate. Alto Belt F3 – D5 "Avenue Q"

A laid-back guy married to Christmas Eve. Unemployed but dreams of becoming a famous ‘smutty’ comedian. “Calling a character “ordinary” is never helpful for any actor – but Brian does live in a relaxed, easy-come easy-go world.” Vocal Baritone B2 – F#4 "Avenue Q"
A therapist who has moved here from Japan. Wears the trousers in her relationship with Brian. “She’s super smart. If you go for the easy stereotype the audience won’t find her funny after about eight minutes.” Vocal Soprano: B3 – F#5 "Avenue Q"
Yes, that Gary Coleman. He lives on the Avenue, too! He’s the superintendent. He is a washed up Z-list celebrity who has had a public personal life. Vocal: D2 – Bb4/D3 – Bb5* Tenor/Alto (Belt) *Main range alto, top Bb appears once as part of a riff "Avenue Q"
Pippin’s grandmother. Brassy, full of wisdom, grace, and sass. She tries to help Pippin and encourages him to live his life to the fullest. Great Comedian. Vocal Range: E3 – C5 "Pippin"
A widow and young mother. She is a beautiful and a hopeless romantic, who possesses graceful elegance. Encounters Pippin at his lowest point and eventually falls in love with him. Vocal Range: F#3 – Db5 "Pippin"
Pippin’s father and king. Charlemagne is more comfortable wielding a sword than breaking bread. He wears his years with great pride. Vocal Range: G2 – E4 "Pippin"
Pippin’s conniving stepmother. Devious, sexy, crafty, cunning. Dedicated to gaining the throne for her darling son, Lewis. Vocal Range: A3 – F5 "Pippin"
The ultimate ‘ring leader.’ Masterfully charming and manipulative, the Leading Player is the antithesis of Pippin. Guides Pippin through their story and tries to intervene at the end. Charlemagne and Fastrada’s son. Pippin’s halfbrother and after Pippin, heir to the throne. Addicted to the physical, Lewis loves weight lifting, Lewis loves wrestling, but most of all, Lewis loves Lewis. "Pippin"

New York’s most famous and flamboyant stage director. Surrounds himself with deliciously beautiful clothing, people, and possessions. In a crowd, it would be impossible to miss him. Vocal range: G#2-G4 "The Producers"
Roger Debris’ faithful assistant. Carmen is severe in looks and passion for Roger. He may appear younger than he actually is thanks to skilled surgeons. Vocal range : C3-A4
